Kristin and Zach hung with me a couple weeks ago for their engagement photos and brought the sun with them!! oh yeah! We scooted from the waterfront to NW 23rd and I basically giggle my bum off the whole time at their hilarity and schmaltzy loveyness! You two are fab – can’t wait for your wedding in July!!!!
I love weddings where I have a ridiculously hard time narrowing down the highlights to a reasonable number – so I just end up posting a bajillion pics. LIke this one – it was a day full of hilarity, cool details, a fly-in grand entrance, miniature fir trees and fishies on every table, and da-da-da-dancing! Loved it Nicole & Scott!! Way to be awesome, full-of-personality-type people!! ’Twas also fabulous working with the cute people from A Niko Productions, Dazzling Affaire, and Cloud Nine Bridal!!

Nicole and Scott are nerdy like me. Nerds like to be together. I liked being with them and they like being with each other. They like each other so much that they are getting hitched THIS MONTH!! They are planning the celebration of their first day of wedded bliss at the Pearson Air Museum up at historic Officer’s Row in Vancouver. So we opted to take some fab engagement shots up there as well. The day started cold and a tad misty, but stayed clear and dry enough for some luscious photos. We even got a sunbreak at the end – joyously accepted by that California girl, Nicole!! Can’t wait for the wedding!! Here are my faves:

Kelli & Caleb got hitched at the rockin’ Crystal Ballroom in downtown a couple weeks ago. Highlights: big hair, big eyelashes, the most amazing crocheted heels I’ve ever seen, gobs of friends and fam at every turn, loads of cute kids (they have 6 between them!!), and a reception dance playlist that I MUST steal ASAP!! Loved the night, you two – so, so genuine! I do wish I could have spent more time at the kid’s coloring table & pizza buffet, though!! Ha – to only be 4 again!

It always just breaks my heart when people I care about end up with crappy photos. So, when I see they’ve entrusted their most important memories to someone who knows what they are doing…. Well, it’s just such a happy, wonderful thing to see! I’m sure you know exactly what I mean! Anyway, well done.
